Mark and his wife have built a life together on their farm, surrounded by their dogs, horses, family, and the place they call home. But as Mark’s mobility changes due to Multiple Sclerosis (MS), the home he loves is becoming harder, and less safe, for him to navigate.

Mark currently uses a wheelchair. Unfortunately, his home was never designed with wheelchair accessibility in mind.

Simple things many of us rarely think twice about, like getting through the front door or taking a shower safely, are becoming major challenges.

That’s where My Home Forever hopes to help. ❤️

We are raising funds specifically for Mark to make two important changes to his home:

Build a wheelchair-accessible ramp, giving Mark a safe and reliable way to get in and out of his home.

Renovate his bathroom to include a roll-in shower, allowing him to maintain as much safety, comfort, dignity, and independence as possible.

For Mark and his family, these renovations are about so much more than construction. They mean being able to continue living in the home they love while adapting it to the next chapter of their lives.

Our goal at My Home Forever is simple: when someone's mobility changes, we don't believe their connection to home should have to change with it.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help us get closer to giving Mark a home that works for him instead of creating another obstacle in his day. If you're unable to donate, sharing Mark's story can make an incredible difference too.

This GoFundMe is specifically dedicated to Mark's wheelchair ramp and accessible bathroom renovation. Funds raised through this campaign will first be used toward completing Mark's project. Should donations exceed the amount required to complete his ramp and bathroom renovations, any remaining funds will be rolled into My Home Forever's next accessibility project, helping another person or family remain safely in the place they call home.
