Hi everyone, my name is Yamili Alvarez and I’m raising funds for my brother, Mario.

 In April of last year, Mario was diagnosed with cancer. After months of treatment and an incredibly difficult fight, he miraculously went into remission in early October. Our family finally felt hope again.

 Unfortunately, in January this year, we received devastating news, his cancer has returned, and he now has to face another round of treatment.

 Along with the emotional toll this takes on him and our family, the financial burden has grown significantly. His health insurance premium has increased, and the cost of copays and treatments continues to rise. His chemotherapy was previously around $1,000 per week, and with recent insurance changes, it is expected to be even more expensive this time.

 We are asking for help so Mario can focus on fighting cancer without the overwhelming stress of medical bills.
