On September 28, 2019, Tamera Aragon met Mario and his mother, Marci, living on the streets of Stockton, CA. Homeless but full of hope, they quickly formed a friendship that, in 2020, led to Mario moving into the home and lives of Andrea and Josh Kehler.

For over five years, Mario has thrived as part of the Kehler family—receiving the love of God in his heart, his own room, medical care, support for his love of sports and fishing, and even the opportunity to attend a private school. He remains as sweet, talented, and bright as ever.

Marci loves her son deeply and has continued to see him regularly, remaining a devoted mother. This week, something miraculous happened—Marci was able to secure a real two-bedroom home where Mario can safely visit her, while still remaining connected to the life he has built as part of the Kehler family.

This is a dream they have shared for years—a home of their own. But right now, that home is nearly empty, and they live on an extremely limited budget. We are asking for your help to provide the furnishings and basic household needs for Mario and Marci’s new place, along with assistance for initial utility costs.
