Hello, for those of you who know or may not know my mom Marilu was diagnosed with stage four stomach cancer. Before she was diagnosed she would always complain about pain. For years my Mother Marilu struggled with stomach pain. She’s gone through countless surgeries, and even the loss of my baby sister. My baby sister had to come out prematurely due to an infection my mother had in her stomach. For a while the pain had stopped, but it was always there whether it was bearable or not. Unluckily, the pain got worse. On October 26, 2024, My mom went to a specialist in Tijuana. Finally, after years of going to hospitals and being told nothing was wrong and it was just gastritis, on November 12, 2024 we were told bad news. My mom has been in and out of hospital. The doctors have told her she has a destruction in her stomach. Which, makes it hard for her to keep food, and water down. She has 3 IV’s connected to her, one is TPN- total parental nutrition, and the rest are for pain. Being in and out of hospitals is making it hard for my stepdad financially. He spends all his time with my mom while shes in the hospital making him lose hours of work. I ask kindly for anyone who can if they can help me raise money. I know times are hard these days. Hola, para aquellos de ustedes que saben o pueden no saber que mi madre Marilu fue diagnosticada con cáncer de estómago en etapa cuatro. Antes de que le diagnosticaran, siempre se quejaba del dolor. Durante años, mi madre Marilu luchó con dolor de estómago. Ha pasado por innumerables cirugías, e incluso la pérdida de mi hermana pequeña. Mi hermana pequeña tuvo que salir prematuramente debido a una infección que mi madre tenía en el estómago. Durante un tiempo el dolor se había detenido, pero siempre estaba ahí, ya fuera soportable o no. Desafortunadamente, el dolor empeoró. El 26 de octubre de 2024, mi madre fue a un especialista en Tijuana. Finalmente, después de años de ir a hospitales y que nos dijeran que nada estaba mal y que era solo gastritis, el 12 de noviembre de 2024 nos dieron malas noticias. Mi madre ha estado dentro y fuera del hospital. Los médicos le han dicho que tiene una destrucción en el estómago. Lo cual, hace que sea difícil para ella mantener la comida y el agua. Tiene 3 intravenosas conectadas a ella, una es TPN- nutrición parental total, y el resto son para el dolor. Estar dentro y fuera de los hospitales lo está haciendo difícil económicamente para mi padrastro. Pasa todo su tiempo con mi madre mientras ella está en el hospital, lo que le hace perder horas de trabajo. Le pido amablemente a cualquiera que pueda si puede ayudarme a recaudar dinero.
