Hello everyone. My name is Mariia, and I am reaching out for help during an incredibly critical and difficult time for my family and me. I have always tried to manage on my own and have never asked for help before, but today I find myself in a situation where I can no longer cope alone. I am a mother of four children, divorced and raising them by myself. My parents live with us—they are a great help and support, but unfortunately, they have health problems and need my care as well.

Right now, I am facing a financial crisis that I never imagined. Since August 2025, my benefits have been stopped, and after a recalculation, I was told I had been overpaid and now have to return a significant amount. In addition, the payment for reparole status for five people in my family is a large expense that I cannot cover on my own. This is an overwhelming burden for me, and I cannot pay it back, even in installments. On top of this, I urgently need to find funds to renew the residence permits for three of my children and two of my parents. Without these permits, we risk deportation, and our future here is uncertain. I have been working for almost a year to obtain status documents and a work permit, but I still cannot get them and am unable to work.

I am desperate and do not know where else to turn. I am asking for your support—any amount you can give will make a difference for me and my children.
