Help Maria's Mother-in-Law Keep Her Home
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Maria and this wonderful lady here is my mother-in-law. Recently, she received a letter from a mobile home community where she has been living in for over 20 years. This letter came from a new management company that recently has taken over this manufactured home community. They are demanding that she gets a certification of occupancy and is giving her a limited amount of time to get this done. I remind you, she was living in this mobile home for 20 years, my husband and myself were living in that same exact mobile home for 10 years. No issues with certification of occupancy were ever brought to anyone's attention in 30 years. This is what seems unreal to her family.
This particular manufactured home has been well maintained. However, it is a 1969 manufactured home which is going to need upgrades. She is very nervous and at 86 years old, should not have to worry about this at her stage of life. My husband and I are helping her navigate the paperwork, the permits, the engineer, and the electrical inspector. We are asking for any donation to assist in helping pay for these professionals and any unforeseen financial hardship that may arise to bring this modular home up to code. We appreciate any support. We find this very heartbreaking as why after 30 years we are getting this letter? It's just undue stress brought to this beautiful lady's front door!
Thank you for any and all support!
