On Wednesday, May 27th, my husband got detained by ICE on his way to work. He got detained on the 56 to turn into the 5 North in Carmel Valley. Unfortunately, he wasn’t the person they were looking for because when they saw his ID, he understood when they said, “wrong guy.” He is currently at the Otay Mesa Detention Center.

Even though, yes, we have a lawyer who is working on his change of status, it is still going to cost us for them to represent us or for us to file for the habeas corpus way. We have two young kids together and my stepson who is living with us. My 7-year-old has anxiety and my 3-year-old son has autism. My 7 year old wishes to have his dad back home before Father’s Day. This is going to take a financial toll on us as I work for a school and I am not working during the summer because I never thought this was going to happen to us. I’m not the kind to ever do these things, but I am the kind to give a helping hand when in need. Every donation is very much appreciated as all of this money will go to legal costs. I truly appreciate anything and help us reunite.
