*Help Support My Brother's Recovery*

My name is Maria Ortiz, and I'm starting this GoFundMe campaign for my little brother and my mom.

On February 25, 2025, my 15 year old brother was brutally attacked by three older men at a gym in San Jose, CA. He suffered a severe head injury, resulting in a brain bleed and swelling. Thankfully, the fire department arrived quickly and revived him twice. He was rushed to the hospital, where he spent five days in the PICU in an induced coma.

Although he's now out of danger, the road to recovery will be long and challenging. Due to the brain damage, my brother will require extensive physical therapy to relearn basic skills like eating and walking.

As a single parent, my mom is the sole provider for my brother. Unfortunately, she'll have to take time off work to care for him, which will impact their financial stability.

This is where your support comes in. Any contribution will help alleviate the financial burden on my mom, covering essential expenses like rent, bills, and therapy sessions.
