The other day in Walmart, I asked a lady named Maria to help me wrap a present. Maria helped me immediately but as she was wrapping the present she was overcome with emotion. She told me she was having a tough day because she recently lost her house and pets in a house fire. When I gave her the $1,000 dollars for passing the Kindness Test, she told me every Christmas her family dresses up as Santa and Mrs. Claus and gives gifts to those who don't have any. Her family lost all of the Christmas gifts they were giving away to families in need.

Maria is currently living in a motel with her surviving pets and family and do not have a long-term place to live at this time. A lot is up in the air for them on what to do next. I felt so blessed that we could meet her and show her love. I say we come together and help provide for her family in this time of need and help her continue to spread that Christmas cheer again!
