On Sunday, September 28, tragedy struck when Mariana Santanna and her mother Suely’s apartment went up in flames. In just a few hours, they lost nearly everything — their home, clothes, furniture, and all the little belongings that make up a life. Thankfully, they are safe, but the road to rebuilding is long.
Why We’re Raising $15,000
The biggest hurdle for Mariana and Suely right now is securing a new home. After losing their apartment, they face the heavy costs of rent, deposits, and basic furniture to start over. Your donations will help cover:

- Essential furniture and household basics
