Help Mariana and Her Kids Settle in New Home

I'm raising some money for Mariana, my family's cleaning services provider.

Mariana has been working with us for a little over a year. Her and her two children are originally from Ecuador, they have immigrated to the US as asylum seekers, and she's been granted a work permit. She's legally working in this country. This week, she's learned her family is being evicted from the shelter they've been living in much earlier than they were originally told. They need to be out by December 1st.

Mariana and her two kids are now moving to an empty room in Jamaica, Queens, sharing a two-bedroom apartment with another immigrant couple. The bottomline is: she needs everything for the new house - bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom items. Think bed frame, mattress, sheets, towels, microwave, plates, pans, everything.
