Help Mariah Ripke Get Back on the Road
Donation protected
Mariah Ripke was in a car accident alone the morning of November 12th, 2024. I was up north for deer camp when I received the SOS text from her iPhone saying she was involved in a crash. I immediately called and texted her multiple times to see if it was somehow an accident, with no answer. Frantic and worried, I called Midland Co. Dispatch who confirmed they also received the text and had help en route. Soon after my mother arrived at the scene, she called me very shaken to let me know my wife and mother of our two kids was alive, beat up, but alive. Knowing only that, I raced back to camp and got in my truck and headed home.
Upon getting to the ER and seeing her for the first time, I was relieved she only had a few broken bones and a concussion, but nothing too serious. Later I got to see some pictures of her truck which she uses daily to go to the gym, shop, and transport our girls to and from school. Off to Saginaw to see a specialist for her broken eye socket. A few days go by and she's good enough to go see her truck with me in person, and I was shocked she was injured so little after seeing how bad the truck was. She doesn't remember the accident, and we don't know exactly what happened but the truck shows, in my uneducated opinion, that she had rolled and flipped across the road.
So, that puts our young family in a predicament, we need a second vehicle again to get the girls to and from school, one that's more fuel efficient than my diesel; and because Mariah is a hardworking stay at home mom that has no income, fuel efficiency to help stretch the dollar is very important next to safety.
Any help to get us a little boost to get her another car is GREATLY appreciated.
Thank you all so much for your love and support in this scary time. - Owen Ripke
