Hello my name is Maria. I am a single mom of 4 amazing children. I am also a survivor or cervical cancer. My diagnosis was the beginning of some really difficult years emotionally, mentally and financially. We unfortunately became homeless not long after my diagnosis and started living out of an RV boondocking for a few years.

Before my diagnosis my relationship with my partner was really rocky and after my diagnosis it became really strenuous to keep my family together. He was then diagnosis with skin cancer not long after my recovery process began. Without any future planning, in April of this year he moved in with his parents letting us borrow his RV while I remained raising our kids fulltime. I currently work part-time and homeschool fulltime my youngest 2 daughters. My oldest works as many hours to help out in the household.

In July of this year, I was able to rent a lot in a beautiful and affordable RV neighborhood. This fundraiser is to help us obtain a better RV. As mentioned before the RV we are currently living is borrowed from my ex partner. When he purchased it, it was not inspected properly and came with a few issues, including rotted slide out floors. He fixed half of one floor and covered the other. I cant afford to fix the issues that came with it and have been told of repossession possiblities of the RV.

Donations will go twards helping us purchase a fair price RV or for a down payment of an RV of our own that is a safe home for my children. Any contribution given will be greatly appreciated by our family.
