Maria Eugenia’s life changed in an instant when a fire swept through her home in Ontario, CA. We are very grateful that she was not home and is unharmed, but the fire spread rapidly and destroyed everything she owned. After living in her home for more 15 years, Maria Eugenia lost not only her all of her belongings but also the place where she built a close-knit community with her local church.

Right now, Maria Eugenia is staying with her daughter, but this is only a temporary solution. She faces the challenge of replacing essentials and finding a way to rebuild her life and home. Her faith and involvement in her church have always been central to who she is, and she’s known for her kindness and support to others in her community. The loss has been overwhelming, but Maria Eugenia remains hopeful and grateful for any help as she starts over.
