Help Maria Elena Rebuild After Cancer & Hardship

Hi everyone,

My name is Mariaelena, and asking for help is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. I’ve always been someone who works hard, pushes through pain, and takes care of responsibilities no matter what life throws at me.

After working many years at Stater Bros., I suffered injuries on the job that took a toll on my body. But even that didn’t stop me. Not even cancer stopped me.

While going through radiation treatments for cancer, I made a decision that I wasn’t going to give up on myself or my future. During treatment, I enrolled myself in adult continuation school and worked hard to earn my high school diploma. After accomplishing that, I continued pushing forward and enrolled myself in cosmetology school — all while still battling cancer and going through radiation.

I’m proud to say that I officially graduated cosmetology school this past April.

God has truly given me a second chance at life, and I’m doing everything I can to rebuild and move forward with purpose, faith, and gratitude.

Right now, I have the opportunity to move into a new home and finally have all my hard work pay off! I did it! I really did defy all the odds. I am proud to say I really did it.

I’m so ready for this next chapter to be the best version of myself that I can be. For God. For my family and for my future.

So with that, I'm coming humbly, and asking for anybody that may be in a position and so blessed enough to spread some love and help me and my family on this new journey. I'll say it sure is a big leap but I'm calling on all you prayer warriors and believers to keep me and my family in your good thoughts, as we attempt to embark on this new path. We are truly stepping out in faith and believing in GOD'S PURPOSE for our lives. I know He will make a way. I'M CELEBRATING THAT HE ALREADY HAS....

I just need a little help covering the security deposit and first month’s rent so I can begin this next chapter.

Putting my pride aside to ask for help has not been easy, but I’m hoping there may be angels out there willing to help me get this fresh start.
