Hello, I’m starting a GoFundMe for my sister, Mari Douglas, because her kids' father, Jeff Hettinger, was just tragically killed on March 31st, 2025. Jeff was a loving father and was there for his kids. Jeff helped so many people and would give the shirt off his back and the last penny he had to help anyone if he was asked or if he saw someone struggling.

Mari really didn’t want to ask for help because that is the kind of person she is. Jeff played a huge role in supporting his children financially. With the recent impact, we don’t know what lies ahead. The kids will have needs and most likely counseling. I’m just trying to get her some help until she’s able to file for social security to make up for the loss of financial support for paying bills. Anything helps.
