Help Marcus Walker Continue His Mission
Marcus Walker, a former professional basketball player, has dedicated his life to serving others. After his playing career, Marcus built one of the top basketball training companies in the country, where he has trained and mentored countless athletes. He also founded The Heart of Kansas City Foundation, a nonprofit organization devoted to supporting the homeless and providing opportunities for kids in the community.
Recently, Marcus faced the greatest battle of his life. He suffered a major cardiac event where his heart stopped for an extended period of time. Doctors have called his survival and recovery nothing short of a miracle—his heart function and progress are beyond what anyone thought possible. He is truly blessed to still be here, alive and with a renewed sense of purpose.
Before this life-changing event, Marcus was in the process of building his own gym—a place where he could continue training athletes, serving youth, and expanding his outreach for those in need. Now more than ever, he needs the support of the community he has poured so much into.
Marcus has spent years giving—whether through basketball, mentorship, or feeding and clothing the homeless. Now is our chance to give back to him. With your help, we can make his dream of building a gym a reality, allowing him to continue inspiring, teaching, and changing lives.
Every donation brings him closer to that dream. Let’s come together and show Marcus the same love and support he has shown so many.
