I am the mother of Maranda, whom I had at age 15. With the help of family, I raised a beautiful young lady who graduated from high school and went on to Morgan State University with a 3.8 GPA. She then got pregnant with my granddaughter Alexzandria while in college, and a few years later, with her second child, Tayler.

Maranda's dream and goal is to be a writer. She quit college to take care of these two wonderful girls who have been nothing but great students throughout school. Alex is a recent 2025 high school graduate and Tayler is a junior in high school and will graduate in 2027, God’s will. Maranda, a hardworking mother of two, has faced many challenges raising her girls on her own in Georgia. Some of the struggles she has faced are transportation and keeping a roof over their heads. With this economy being the way it is today, it has gotten even harder for her to maintain. She is trying her best to keep up with bills, but it’s a bit too much, so I’m asking anyone who can and is willing to help my daughter get these girls to greatness and just ease the burden. I would greatly appreciate it. I would like to at least get her a car that’s paid for since she has to take these girls back and forth to practice, group meetings, and now she will be traveling to Kentucky where Alex will attend college with a full-ride scholarship. So I would like to thank anyone who will help us in advance for your generosity and kindness to help them all reach their potential goals.
