Hello, my name is Maram, I am 38 years old, and I want to evacuate my family from Gaza. There is news that the crossing will open soon, but I need your help in finding the funds for it.
I came out of Gaza several months ago to receive treatment in Egypt because my health condition deteriorated after our area was bombed. Alhamdullah my husband and sons, Wissam who is 19 years old, Yazid 17 years old, Mohammed 14 years old and Qais who is only two and a half years old came out of the rubble in good health even living in tents in Khan Younis after being displaced several times as their home was in Rafah.
They were also besieged several days before leaving and suffered from a severe lack of the basic necessities of life like water and food, not to mention the heat of the tents and insects and the spread of skin diseases and hepatitis C.
I left behind my 64-year-old father with his wife. My 3 brothers and their wives and children; Muhammad with four children, Ahmed with three children. Khaled has five children. The children’s ages ranges from as young as 4 years old and as old as 13 years old. They are the same people whose houses were bombed and my husband became the only source of income for all of them. My father desperately needs health care because he suffers from chronic diseases.
We can no longer afford to pay for everyone’s necessities as prices skyrocket and we see less of products.
Life is not easy for me here in exile and sickness, but the troubles I endure are nothing compared to the suffering of my family members. If you can please help me whether it is by sharing or donating, you are helping us by saving our lives!
