On the morning of november 13, our mom Manuela Marcos Nicolas was detained by ICE in Ontario, California after dropping us off at school. We didn’t see it happen, and finding out she wasn’t coming home that day broke all of us. She’s a single mother raising five kids on her own, and everything she does is for us.

Our mom is the type of person who gives everything she has to make sure her kids are okay. She works hard, sacrifices constantly, and somehow still finds a way to stay strong for us no matter what. Now she’s sitting in detention, and we’re here trying to hold our family together without her.

We’re terrified she could be deported.

Losing her would tear our whole family apart.

We’re trying to hire an immigration attorney, but it’s expensive and we simply don’t have the money. We need $4,000 just to get a legal team to start her case, and $10,000 total to cover everything needed to fight for her release.

With only one of us working, we’re struggling with rent and bills already. We’re asking for help from anyone who can donate or even share this. Every bit makes a difference.

We just want our mom back home where she belongs — with her kids.
