Help Malik during this trying time!

Hello, my name is Lakeshia, and I am currently raising money for one of my son's best friends. Malik King is currently an 18-year-old, hospital homebound student at Newton High School in Covington, GA. Along with dealing with life’s issues, Malik is also battling a cancer known as Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

Back story: Malik lost one of his best friends on December 9, 2024, which was a devastating loss for all of those who loved him! Malik was then diagnosed with cancer in mid-February and has been undergoing treatment since. On April 7, 2025, he found out that his mother had passed on April 6th while they both were in the hospital for treatment due to their underlying conditions.

I am raising money to help Malik through this troubling time. He’s currently residing with his older brother, but we all know that regardless of what happens in life, we have to find the strength to push forward! These funds will help Malik do just that. They will help with his cancer treatments, transportation, medications, graduation that’s approaching in May, his general needs, and so much more!
