Hi, I'm posting this fundraiser with Malia Sampson's permission in hopes of helping her fundraise for a wheelchair ramp she really needs built! She is an elder in Dillingham and recently & unexpectedly had her leg amputated. She needs help asap getting a wheel chair ramp built so she can safely get in and out of her home that currently only has a staircase to the entrance. Unfortunately there is no longer any type of assistance for a ramp at our local organizations/other statewide orgs (we have called everywhere and checked). L&M has generously offered a discounted rate and quoted the materials for this ramp at $4,514.78. She already has a carpenter willing to build the ramp for free, she just needs assistance with funding for the lumber!
