Help Malcolm Farnsworth get back on track
Donation protected
Friends, Malcolm Farnsworth, a well known and accomplished Political Commentator and much loved teacher of many has fallen on hard times.
The man known for his satirical wit, who taught so many of us to critically think and to challenge ourselves and our preconceived ideas is in need of some help from us.
Some of you will have heard and some will be shocked to discover that through a series of life’s challenges and twists, Malcolm has found himself homeless and at times has been living in his car.
Since ceasing teaching, Malcolm has been working as a Political Commentator with many publications but he is finding difficulties in gaining employment in this sector at the moment. Malcolm has also been actively working on his websites, AustralianPolitics.com, WhitlamDismissal.com and Watergate.info and recently he has been receiving donations through his Patreon site linked to these websites to assist in maintaining these sites and his expenses; but this is not enough.
A small group of ex-Students have been working together and with Malcolm to establish a better situation for him and an ongoing solution for his future.
We have been working to establish Government assistance and temporary housing - though the housing situation is tenuous and needs a better solution quickly, and are now looking at the next stage.
We are setting up the GoFund Me Page to ask for assistance in getting our friend and teacher back on track.
While Government assistance is a wonderful thing, we hope you can understand that when things have got this bad there can be a shortfall in getting things to where they need to be for a happy and healthy life.
Expenses that will be covered by this Go Fund Me include:
- Establishing a permanent safe housing situation. Malcolm currently has all of his furniture in storage (which is an extra cost that we need to alleviate) and we need to find him a permanent residence and move his furnishings in.
- Bond for a rental property if required.
- Medical, Food and living Expenses while Malcolm finds further work.
We hope that you feel that you can contribute to this fund. Any amount would be greatly appreciated.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.
Thank you,
Therese, Gin, and Michaela.
