Help Makenzie Heal After Severe Car Wreck

My sister, Makenzie Bates, got in a wreck this morning on December 31, 2024. The driver’s seat broke, and she was pinned in the backseat. They had to use the jaws of life to extract her from her vehicle. She is currently in the ICU on an incubator and has major vascular injuries, a broken leg, and possibly a broken arm. She has had three surgeries so far: vascular, abdominal, and orthopedic. She will more than likely be in the ICU for 3-4 days before they can move her to a regular room. She will obviously be unable to work during this time, but she still has bills to pay and a dog to feed, and she will now need a new vehicle and have an ungodly amount of hospital bills.

Everyone has been asking me how they can help, and though we hate to ask for money, it would really help contribute to this long healing journey she will have to face. Every little bit counts. Thank you.

Edit: Makenzie had another surgery at 5:30 pm annd has annother scheduled for the morning. Overall she is currently in stable critical condition.
