Help Makenna through her first few years.

Hi, my name is Dawn. I started this fundraiser for my best friend, Becca and her unborn child, Makenna. Becca and Dylan have three boys who are excited to be big brothers to a little sister. Becca is a high school science teacher and an outstanding member of the Elk Grove community.

After her anatomy scan at 20 weeks pregnant, Becca's family learned that Makenna has a rare condition that will require a C-section delivery and at least two weeks in the NICU. She will need surgery at a few days old or around the one year mark depending on her condition at birth. She will require special care and extra love her first year of life regardless of when her surgery occurs. This gofundme’s purpose is to send support and assistance to this family as they prepare for Makenna's arrival, begin their NICU journey, and throughout Makenna’s special care after she goes home. Your support will help pay for NICU expenses, provide meals, childcare, and help ease the financial stress so this family can focus on Makenna’s care.
