On Halloween, our world stopped when we found out my mom has pancreatic cancer. Since then, every moment has felt heavier, more precious, and more urgent. My mom and I share an unbelievably strong bond—she’s my best friend, my constant, my safe place—and facing the reality that our time may be limited is something I still can’t fully put into words. Her dying wish is simple but deeply meaningful: to go to Disney together as a family, to feel joy, magic, and togetherness without hospital walls or fear, even if just for a little while. As I prepare to get married in just four months, this trip means more to us: it’s a chance to celebrate love, laughter, and the magic we’ve always shared as a family. We are hoping to raise funds to make this dream possible, giving her something beautiful to look forward to and giving us memories we’ll carry with us forever.
