Meet Ms Ruthie! She is an amazing resilient spirit born in Arkansas in 1934, whose life's journey led her and her husband Herman to Colorado in the late 1950s. They etched a life filled with dreams, with Ruthie becoming a cornerstone at the Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church and dedicating years to Denver Public School District.

However, life took a sorrowful turn when Ruthie became a widow. Her historic Denver home, built in 1891, now battles the elements and time. Recent harsh weather, especially rain, has left her home vulnerable, uncovering asbestos and mold. The home is a dangerous place for a 89 year old to be living as the air is not safe to breath.

We need help raising money for Ruthie to enable her to remain in the home she loves and surrounded by family. All funds raised are going directly to Ms Ruthie and she greatly appreciates any support she can get.
