On October 31, 2025, at around 8:30 PM, my daughter Makayla and her boyfriend Jordan received a call while they were out, telling them that their house was on fire. They immediately rushed home, but it was too late. The fire department was on the scene, but they were told it was a total loss.

They’ve lost their two dogs, Dixie and Trip, a gecko named Treaty, and a baby ball python named Gemini. Everything they owned was lost in the fire.
