My name is Majesty, and I am a senior Fashion Design major at Howard University, with a minor in Japanese. My journey at Howard has been transformative, helping me discover my true self and develop my creative talents. I am actively involved in the S.H.O.W.T.I.M.E Marching Band and Models of the Mecca Inc., two organizations that have given me incredible opportunities to grow, perform, and connect with inspiring peers. These experiences have shaped my college years and are a vital part of who I am today.

Recently, I faced an unexpected setback when my student loan was not renewed due to complications with the loan company and delays in Howard’s Financial Aid office. This has left me with a balance that I must resolve within 45 days, or I risk losing my ability to register for my final classes, participate in the Marching Band, and complete my senior projects. This balance is the only thing standing between me and my dream of graduating from Howard. Resolving it will allow me to finish my degree, take part in my last year with the band, and move forward with applying for graduation.

Fashion design has been my passion since I was young, and being accepted into Howard’s program was a dream come true. I have already achieved so much, but I need your support to cross the finish line.
