Support for Majdal Shams: Help Us Rebuild after a Terror Attack Kills Twelve Children on Soccer Field

We are reaching out to you, our global community, to help support the broken and bereaved families of Majdal Shams, who are confronting an unimaginable loss.

Who we are:

Offir Gutelzon is a community organizer and co-founder of Unxeptable, a grassroots activist organization who’s aim to heal Israel’s democracy. When the tragedy happened, he just came back from DC where he organized a protest.

Noga Tarnopolsky is a well-known journalist who spent time in Majdal Shams in 2014 and wrote an article that expressed how Majdal Sham’s part of the world was divided by the great powers. She’s maintained ties there ever since, and has continued to have a deep admiration for the city which is one of the top 5 cities in Israel that sends girls to college. Noga is in direct contact with Majdal Shams' Mayor Dolan Abu Saleh and Adham Braek, Chief of Staff to Majdal Shams Mayor.

We are in direct contact with the mayor's office regarding the most pressing needs

Israel's north is already crushed under the burden of war, and now Majdal Shams needs our help to build proper bomb shelters, cover urgent rehabilitation for survivors and fund actual brick-and-mortar reconstruction.
