Dear family and friends , as me and my family spend time in Ethiopia we recognize how blessed we are and others in our lives. We met a beautiful family and their living and family situation tugged on our heart strings and we knew we had to do something. We do not want to see this mother and her children on the streets. We have never done a gofundme before but know with the help of friends and family we could really make a difference in these children lives.
Meet Mahlet (mom) and her 3 beautiful daughters Arsema (9) Etsepatos (7) Yibela (3). They have been left in an unfortunate situation: the father the primary breadwinner has left them and the mother has been unable to support her kids with even basic necessities like housing, food or school without the humanitarian support of others. To help this mother pay for school tuition , housing , food and other basic necessities (unfortunately Ethiopia does not have a welfare support system) . We would like to help her start a job opportunity to support her family ( versus just giving her a handout of money which will eventually run out). Let’s help her start an opportunity where she can work and care for her children without continued support. We are asking our friends and family for a donation. No amount is too small.
