Our community has recently received heartbreaking news: 6-year-old Magnus a sweet, smart, fun-loving, and courageous little boy, has been diagnosed with metastatic alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer.

As his family begins this difficult journey, they are facing not only the emotional toll of the diagnosis but also the very real financial strain that comes with seeking the best possible care. Magnus will be receiving treatment primarily in Manhattan, and his care team is already consulting with top specialists at Boston Children’s Hospital and CHOP (Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia) to explore every possible option for his recovery.

His parents are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love and support. Many have asked how they can help — and while they are focused on doing everything they can for their son, they understand that people want to support in a tangible way.
