On November 16, 2024, Madison, an 20-year-old soon-to-be CNA student and employee at Williams Town Commons, who lives alone and supports herself and animals. was struck by a truck while crossing the cross walk in Adams, MA. The driver reportedly didn't see her due to the sun.

Madison faces a long and challenging recovery, with:

- Broken arm, leg, ribs, and femur

- Collapsed lungs

- Dental work for broken teeth

- Major concussion
