Help Mad Monkey Bring Freedom to Disabled Vets

Hi, Mad Monkey is a 34 ft custom boat that will ferry supplies and ADA beach access equipment to coastal Georgia's barrier islands and sandbars so disabled veterans can have a means to explore all that the outdoors can unlock. By giving the freedom to go where no access to accommodations means nothing to the MAD MONKEY's abilities to transport and set up the needed equipment for the smaller boats and rental boats that carry the passengers to arrive.

MAD MONKEY will also contract for remote parties and events to underwrite the operational expenses so we don't have to charge our disabled veterans for our missions to provide access.

I am a 58-year-old NAVY VET with PTSD and several service-connected injuries. I was employed in the film and TV industry, but it has never recovered from the last 4 years, and our stage work is down to nothing. A movie set accident took me out for 22 months and exhausted all of my retirement accounts and savings.

This boat was to be my retirement plan, but now I need help to complete the project and get the MAD MONKEY back in the water and operating in the Coastal Savannah, GA area to service our vets.

Currently, the boat is in Jacksonville, FL at the wonderful Sadler Point Marina run by Brooks and the crew of Windward Marine Group. They have been awesome, but now I need funds to complete this final stage of the project.
