Hi. My name is Sheldon and I need some help fixing a wheelchair ramp for a foster child in the Honolulu area. I won't be giving out pictures of him or releasing any personal information. I do have pictures of the ramp, below. For the sake of the Go Fund Me, we will call him M.
M, is a quadriplegic that needs 24/7 care. M gets in and out of his house with the help of his grandfather or an aide, on a wooden ramp. I have recently visited his residence and the aforementioned ramp is in need of immediate repairs. His daily needs don't allow his household enough to afford the repairs. The landlord of the property won't be assisting with this project either.
I would like to repair and reinforce the ramp to properly carry a working load. I will donate my time and carpentry skills to the project, but I would like your help paying for the materials. I will list the materials below.
M has an uphill battle for the rest of his life. Let's help him get up that hill, even if it's a small part of the journey.
The lack of personal details about M, may hinder the credibility of this fundraiser. However, those of you that know me personally, know that I would never ask for help unless it was absolutely necessary. I would also never lie about a person's physical disabilities to get money.
Please help. If can, can. If no can, send your thoughts and prayers his way.
Thank you for your time, Sheldon.
I will post progress pics/videos on my IG @mistahlobuilds for anyone who donates and would like to stay updated with the project.
