Help Lyra la Belle replace her stolen costumes.

Hot Sauce Burlesque Head Hottie and all round excellent human Lyra la Belle is the first to dig deep and show support when one of her community is in need. Now it's our turn to send some of that love back.

Yesterday, December 9, just weeks out from Christmas, Lyra's car was broken into and her costumes were stolen from the boot.

Any burlesque performer knows that costumes are essential to a performer working, they are custom made for that performer and they are a hefty investment. Lyra estimates that in this case her costumes were worth over $1000.

On top of this, her car window was smashed, an additional cost of $400. And her sound system, which she uses for teaching, was also taken.

Theft is devastating whenever it happens. But it's an extra kick in the guts coming just out from Christmas, when finances are stretched and exhaustion is running high.

Please help me to give back to the woman who gives so much to those around her. Any amount will be a help. The funds raised will go to replacing the stolen costumes and sound system, and fixing Lyra's car. Your support an an expensive time of year is hugely appreciated.
