Hello, family and friends! I am still here! Since June 1st, I have been in a very real fight for my life after being taken to the hospital with what the ER doctor described as having fatally low levels of sodium and hemoglobin which caused damage to my brain. Three blood transfusions, numerous infusions, two code blues, an induced coma, intubation, feeding tube, and two hospitals later, I am making strides toward recovery every day. It's been and will continue to be a long road through medical recovery, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and work with speech pathology. You all know I'm a fighter. However, I need help on this journey. The medical bills alone are insurmountable; as I have obviously not been working, I also need help to cover my regular bills and to help support my three sons, young men just starting their adult lives.
