Hi, I'm Lydia and I am the eldest child out of 5 born to a super cool mom that you guys may or may not know. My mom has always been 100% eager and willing to help anyone in need, from friends and family, her patients, and even complete strangers. Today, I'm coming to you to see if we can return some of that love and give her some much needed support in a significant time of need.

My mother was diagnosed with CHF and Hypertension at 18 years old, shortly after having me. Despite this she has went on to become a registered nurse and mom to 4 additional kiddos. Despite taking measures to prevent any complications, my mom has found herself struggling with her health which has lead to enormous financial strain.

My mother became pregnant very unexpectedly with identical twins earlier this year and is having a difficult time maintaining her health while continuing to care for her existing children, the house, and her patients at work. Due to the high-risk nature of this pregnancy in addition to her existing health issues she has had to reduce her work schedule and is bringing in less money than needed to sustain her medical needs, groceries, and bills.

On top of everything, she has also recently been diagnosed with COVID which has taken her out of work and exhausted her PTO. With her health issues paired with the high risk of her pregnancy, there have been a lot of complications with the babies and the likelihood that 1 or both babies will need significant medical intervention at birth is high.

Additionally, we were notified today that the home that we have been renting for the last 8 years is going to be listed for sale and we will urgently need to find a new home, with no prior communication.

With mounting medical bills, household bills, and housing need, we are in a difficult place financially and emotionally.

My mom does not like asking for help even when she needs it, but I don't mind asking for her. Please help me to lessen the stress on my mom by alleviating some of the financial burden so she can focus on her health, her children, and bringing these two additions into our family safely.
