Help me volunteer in Costa Rica

Hi, I’m Lydia and I am raising money to help fund my volunteering project in Costa Rica. I will be volunteering for the Raleigh International, which will involve me helping indigenous people through community and environmental-led projects.

The volunteering will take place over 10 weeks between October and December 2024.

All donations I collect up to the target will be sent directly to Raleigh International before I depart for Costa Rica so they can cover all the essential costs associated with my expedition, such as food, in-country transport and accommodation.

Anything above the target will go towards vaccinations, personal kit and visas required by Raleigh to allow me to volunteer.

By following this fundraiser you will see all the activities I will participate in, in order to aid this project. it is verry important to Raleigh that this money is fundraised and brought in by as many sponsors as possible to help share the cause.

I will be hiking and selling baked goods to help raise money towards the cause while also volunteering with children in local communities in the North East as well as with the organisation success4all in the lead-up to departing for Costa Rica.

This expedition is very important to me as I want to pursue a career in education and having the opportunity to improve access to education in indigenous communities and support young people to develop the tools to prosper in later life would be life changing for me and them.

I will continue to add updates as money is raised as well as once I am in Costa Rica.
