Hello, my name is Makali and my daughter’s name is Luna and she is 8 years old. She was born with a rare genetic mutation that has caused a multi-system disorder. Among her conditions, she has stage 4 polycystic kidney disease and hyperinsulinemia, along with other serious health risks.

Because of her health, she needs routine doctor visits every other month. Recently, her doctors told us that her kidneys are declining rapidly, and she will likely need dialysis and to be placed on the transplant list within the next year.

This news has left me feeling like time is running out. We urgently need a reliable car and the means to move closer to the city where her medical team is located. Being near her doctors will not only make her care more accessible but will also ensure she gets the immediate help she needs as her condition progresses.
