Help Luna and her family access resources in Venezuela

Hello everyone, my name is Ashley and I’m raising money for my dear friend Luna and her mother and brother in Venezuela. Food is scarce and hard to come by. When it is, it’s expensive.

There are no signs of relief from the state, and as we’ve seen in the US, people are migrating across borders seeking better situations and the ability to reliably feed their families. I’m starting this gofundme to channel and redistribute some of our resources to Luna and her family. Some days they are unable to eat, or only eat rice. These funds will also be used at their discretion to relocate or meet other needs.

Luna is a ray of light, a singer, dancer, and makeup artist. We met while traveling in Peru in 2019 and have kept in touch since. She radiates pride in her family and country and creative work, and I want to make sure her ask for mutual aid is circulated with dignity and the understanding that we keep each other safe and fed, especially when the state doesn’t.
