Help The Lopez Family 21 Years of Memories
Donation protected
On January 8th the Eaton Canyon fire swept through Altadena, leaving devastation in its wake. My better half, Luis Lopez and his father had to evacuate quickly. They tragically lost everything when their home was destroyed. He has lived here for over 20 years. Their whole neighborhood was hit hard, destroying all of the houses on their street. What once was a place filled with warmth, love, and cherished memories is now ashes.
Luis is one of the most hardworking and selfless people I know. He has always been the person who shows up when others need help, whether it’s lend a helping hand or provide any life advice. Now, he’s the one in need, and we’re reaching out for support during this incredibly difficult time.
The fire didn’t just take away a house—it took his entire life’s belongings. Family photos, clothing, furniture, and other essentials are all gone. These were not just items but pieces of his history and the foundation of many memories he shared with his family. His home was a place where all his family would gather for birthdays, holiday parties, and many family BBQ's.
Rebuilding after a tragedy like this is a daunting task, both emotionally and financially. Insurance, while helpful, won’t cover everything and will take quiet a while to even sort out. We’re asking for help to provide Luis and his Father with immediate help and assist them in getting them back on their feet. Your contributions will help through this challenging time and support us to cover unexpected costs to get back on their feet.
Any donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference. If you can't donate, sharing this campaign with your friends, family, and community would mean the world to us. Together, we can help them rebuild and find hope in the aftermath of this devastating loss.
We are eternally grateful to everyone that has reached out to check in and share their sentiments of love and prayers.
Your kindness and generosity will be a reminder that even in the face of tragedy, humanity and compassion remain strong. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any support we get during this time.
