Ayúdame a cumplir mi sueño de graduarme y construir mi camino hacia la residencia americana

Hola, mi nombre es Luis Ramírez.

Tengo 24 años y he dedicado gran parte de mi vida al estudio, al deporte y al servicio a los demás. Estoy por comenzar en enero mi último semestre de la Maestría en Consejería en Rehabilitación Clínica en la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Puerto Rico, donde también completé mi bachillerato en Psicología. Mi vocación es clara: quiero trabajar ayudando a personas en su proceso de recuperación, desarrollo y bienestar emocional.

Desde muy joven también he sido atleta de natación, representando a mi país, Venezuela, y alcanzando medallas en competencias universitarias y nacionales. La disciplina, constancia y entrega que el deporte me enseñó son los valores que hoy guían mi crecimiento personal y profesional.

Sin embargo, a pesar de estudiar incansablemente y prepararme para contribuir a esta sociedad, hoy me encuentro en una situación difícil.

Por mi condición de estudiante internacional no tengo acceso a ayudas económicas ni permisos laborales, lo que me impide generar los ingresos necesarios para:

✔️ Cubrir los costos de mi último semestre

✔️ Iniciar mis procesos legales para la residencia americana

Este paso migratorio es crucial para poder ejercer mi profesión, estabilizar mi vida y seguir creciendo en el país que me ha dado la oportunidad de formarme académicamente.

Por eso he decidido crear este GoFundMe.

Me ha costado aprender a pedir ayuda, pero entiendo que los sueños importantes necesitan de comunidad, apoyo y esperanza compartida.

Tu ayuda, por pequeña que sea, hace una diferencia inmensa.

Me permite terminar mis estudios, regularizar mi situación migratoria y acercarme al sueño de convertirme en un profesional que pueda servir a otros con dedicación, ética y corazón.

Help Me Finish My Degree and Begin My Journey Toward U.S. Residency

Hello, my name is Luis Ramírez.

I am 24 years old, and I have dedicated much of my life to education, athletics, and serving others. This coming January, I will begin my final semester of the Master’s in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling at the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, where I also completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. My calling is clear: I want to work helping individuals through their processes of recovery, growth, and emotional well-being.

Since a young age, I have also been a competitive swimmer, proudly representing my home country, Venezuela. I earned medals in national and university competitions, and the discipline, resilience, and dedication I learned through swimming continue to shape me in my personal and professional life.

Despite my commitment and hard work, I currently face a challenging situation.

As an international student, I do not have access to financial aid or work authorization, which makes it extremely difficult to save the funds necessary to:

✔️ Cover the costs of my final semester

✔️ Begin my legal process to obtain U.S. residency

This immigration step is essential for me to continue my studies, stabilize my life, and ultimately contribute to this society as a mental health professional.

For this reason, I have created this GoFundMe.

It has taken courage to ask for help, but I’ve learned that the most meaningful goals often require community, support, and shared hope.
