I’m reaching out on behalf of my incredible nephew, Luis, who resides in Florida and is facing one of the toughest battles of his life. Recently, he was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a type of cancer that affects the lymphatic system. Despite the devastating news, Luis has faced every challenge with the strength and resilience that defines him.

Luis has always been someone who works hard and never shies away from responsibility. Even after receiving his diagnosis, he continues to work every day, trying to balance the demands of chemotherapy while managing his medical expenses, mortgage, and everyday bills. As many of you can imagine, the financial burden of cancer treatment is enormous. The cost of chemotherapy, medications, doctor visits, and tests adds up quickly, not to mention the usual living expenses that don’t pause for a diagnosis.

This GoFundMe campaign is to help lighten the load on Luis and allow him to focus on his health and recovery without the constant stress of financial worries. Despite going through his second round of chemo and many more to go, he still finds the energy to work, but the reality is that cancer treatment can become more demanding as time goes on, both physically and financially.
