Luis is our neighbor: a sweet, resilient young boy who migrated to the US with his mom, Miss C* many years ago. She is a devoted caregiver that spends every day caring for Luis and her two grandchildren that are still in diapers. This family has already been impacted by ICE violence, but also by unexpected, traumatic challenges that have made it difficult to keep up with daily expenses, legal concerns, and medical supplies for Luis' diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy.

Right now, the family is behind on this month's rent and at risk of losing housing. On top of that, they are in urgent need of hiring an immigration attorney that can help them stay together. The stress of these challenges is overwhelming for Miss C*, but as her neighbors, we can step in and be her village.
