Supporting Luis Cortez and Family

As some are aware, my husband is facing unexpected circumstances. On December 6, Luis Cortez was pulled over during a traffic stop and subsequently detained by ICE. Since then, Luis has been held at an ICE facility in Oklahoma. He has worked hard to have all of his papers and remained in good standing since his legal arrival in 2018.

With the help of attorneys, and current legal standing, we are optimistic that Luis will be released from detainment before our baby is born in February but we must be prepared for unexpected events along the way.

These funds will specifically help cover our family’s living expenses, childbirth, and the legal costs we will inevitably incur throughout this process.
