Help Lucy Recover From Devastating Flood
Donation protected
Hi Everyone,
My older sister, Lucy, is a phenomenal middle and high school health teacher in Montpelier, VT, and a cherished member of her community in Plainfield and the surrounding area. On July 10th, she, along with 11 other dear friends and neighbors, lost their beloved apartment building (a.k.a. Heartbreak Hotel) in Plainfield in a flash flood. The building collapsed into roaring flood waters. Lucy has lived in this wonderful spot for 9 years and it truly was home to her. All of her belongings, many sentimental and irreplaceable, are gone. Worst of all, there is no sign of her cat, Levi, and he is presumed dead.
In addition to finding a new place to live, Lucy will have to replace her car, all of her household items, furniture, clothing, etc. If you are able and feel called to help financially, we would appreciate any amount. We are beyond grateful for Lucy's safety and to everyone who has already offered to lend a hand/send her good wishes.
