URGENT: Help Lucero and Azure Stay in their Home

Hi, my name is Stephanie, and I am raising funds for my dear friend and fellow fierce birthworker Lucero Canada, and her sweet son Azure, who live in my local community in Claremont, CA.

Lucero is in a tough situation right now and urgently needs funds to be able to stay in her apartment. She is experiencing a difficult separation and without her knowledge, her former partner stopped paying rent over three months ago. She just found out that they owed three month's rent when she recieved an eviction notice with three days to pay back rent or face eviction. She needs at least $2,119 by Friday, May 3.

Lucero is a student midwife, doula, and adoring mama to 2 1/2 year old Azure. I have been present to her strength and love, having been present for Azure's birth and seeing him thrive and grow over the past 2 1/2 years. She is a kind and passionate soul who is working hard to build a beautiful and meaningful life for herself and Azure and who needs a little help from the community in this rough moment.
