Help Lucas Get Back on His Bike

Lucas is a determined 17-year-old with a deep love for motorbikes. After saving every penny from birthdays, Christmas, and dog sitting jobs—and with a little help from a loan his mum took out—he finally got his dream bike. He had only owned it for two weeks when tragedy struck.

Lucas was involved in a devastating motorbike accident that left him with:

A compound fracture in both bones of his right arm (requiring a 4-hour surgery with plates and screws)

A broken hand

A broken nose

A fractured eye socket

Bruised lungs

Lucas is currently studying motorcycle mechanics at college and had just started finding joy, purpose, and independence after a tough few years. Biking wasn’t just a hobby—it was his world, his therapy, and his future.

Our Story:

As a family, we are heartbroken. This accident didn’t just damage Lucas physically—it has shaken his mental health and stolen the happiness he worked so hard to find. He had finally found his path, and in a split second, it was taken from him.

Why We’re Asking for Help:

Because of incredibly high insurance costs, Lucas could only afford third-party coverage. This means the bike he loved and worked so hard for is not covered and is now gone, and we are sadly not able to buy him another one. We’re hoping to raise £2,000 to replace his bike, helmet and jacket and help him rebuild what he lost.
