The Lubec Chess Club is raising funds to install a concrete picnic table at Stockford Park. The table is manufactured by Doty & Sons with two chessboard patterns painted, finished, and sealed on the surface. These tables have been installed on the Brewer, Maine Riverwalk with great success. They help build community, and are aesthetically pleasing, functional, and completely weatherproof.
